Meta is introducing a number of new features to the photo sharing website. The updates will make it easier to share posts and respond to messages.
The ability to respond to new messages while you browse will be a handy change. Users will not have to navigate to the inbox when they have a new overlay that will enable quick responses from where they are.
When you find a post you want to share, you can press and hold the button to send it. This will show a row of your closest friends that you can quickly share the post with. If you find yourself in your inbox, Meta will show you who is online and available to chat.
A new feature has just been added to Messenger. New silent messages allow you to hit up your friends without getting a notification, which can be useful if you want to avoid bothering someone.
