Moon Knight is only six episodes long, and though everyone expects the character to show up and face off with the likes of Spider-Man and Black Panther, there is no guarantee that will happen.
In a profile by Variety, Moon Knight star Oscar Isaac revealed that unlike many of the actors that helped start the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he does not have a long-term contract in place to continue to appear in the films or shows. We all agreed that this show is what we're going to focus on. The story is this. If people like it, if people want to see more, and if we find a story that's worth telling, then there's a future.
It isn't a guarantee that it hasn't been planned already, but it is a guarantee that it isn't going to be something else. It almost certainly will. The Star Wars star signed up for Moon Knight on his own terms.
I was in a position because I wasn't actively looking to get back into something like that.
This news is almost expected. There was always something odd about Oscar playing Moon Knight. After seeing him in Star Wars, a Disney+ show seemed like a small place for him to make a big splash. Other big stars joining the universe in a movie, such as Kurt Russell, were out after one. It will likely have to do it on a case-by-case basis if it wants to continue.
