Don’t mind me, just enjoying this NFT in my living room.

The partnership with Nifty Gateway will bring NFTs to its TVs, as promised by the company. Nifty Gateway is integrated with the NFT platform and lets you browse, display, and interact with NFTs.

You will be able to display NFTs on your TV. It's worth noting that Nifty Gateway is more strict about who can sell artwork on its platform than OpenSea is. I don't think I would want to buy something more expensive than a movie rental using a remote control, but maybe that's just me.

There is a presentation about the Nifty Gateway integration.

When you display an NFT, the settings on the TVs will beoptimized to give a faithful rendering of the artist's intentions. I would be crushed if my TV displayed this NFT, created by one of the artists featured in Nifty Gateway's press release, with anything but perfect accuracy.

Funnily enough, this image plays to the exact strengths of a QD-OLED display, though Samsung hasn’t specifically said whether those TVs will get Nifty Gateway integration.

The integration of Nifty Gateway will be part of the Smart Hub, and it seems like the intent is for you to display NFTs as ambient artwork. If you're watching a movie like The Social Network, you're just so upset at seeing Mark Zuckerberg be mean to Tyler and Cameron that you're going to turn it off. You could fill up with NFTs from Nifty Gateway, a platform owned by the Winklevoss twins, if your TV went into Ambient Mode. Does that make the NFT integration a fancy screensaver? Absolutely not. The future is made by it.
