Content marketing has always been done via the internet. Sometimes it can be difficult to put pen to paper or words to the screen.

That's where templates for blog post can be used.

In this post, we'll show you how to use a template to capture your audience's attention by following a standard writing formula.

Why Use Google Docs for Blog Post Templates

The collaboration features are the number one reason to use a template for your post.

You can use the platform to:

  • Share templates.
  • Manage editing permissions.
  • Request feedback on your content.
  • Download and convert into other file formats.
  • Back documents up the cloud.

You can easily copy documents with the help of the internet giant. Everyone on your team can save your template in their own folder once you create it.

If you're working in an area with no wi-fi, you can still get your work done by working on your document offline.

The version history and recovery is a helpful tool. Take out a whole paragraph when you start writing. You decide the next day that you want to add it back in.

You can either copy the paragraph into the new version or restore the old one if you access your version history.

If there are multiple users, you can see who made the changes. It's easy to know who to reach out to if you have more questions.

Google Docs Blog Post Template

A comprehensive, high-quality post can be written in a few minutes.

Shorter is often better for your readers who don't have a lot of time to read.

The introduction, the body, and the conclusion are the three sections that should be included in a well- written post. Here is what is included in each.

Have you ever tried to do something? If it is, you will know that it is difficult. What do you do?

Introduction

The problem you are about to solve is set in motion by the introduction.

You are not giving specific solutions in this section, just why it is worth resolving. You want to get your readers to nod in agreement.

Product with a few language changes could be affected by an introduction like that.

It shouldn't be solely for that reason that you promote your own product or service on your blog. The content on your website should help readers solve a problem.

Do you understand why that structure works? It presents a problem and is difficult because of it.

The solution people have found success is what the post will be about.

It explains why it is important that you know those things.

Body

The solution to the problem you set up is explained by the body.

They are ready to hear your solution now that you have identified the problem.

Your body can be written in paragraphs, with bullets, numbered lists, multiple headings, or a mix. It is easy to use whichever format you prefer.

Each section explains what your product or service needs to do to help the reader meet their goals. It reiterates why that is important.

Conclusion

The conclusion has a brief statement that is reflective of the problem your post solved.

The conclusion can be used to prompt further discussion in the comments.

The conclusion should be short to make sure readers don't abandon your post before realizing there is a call-to-action.

Writing a Blog Post Template

The template content I have provided here is not intended to be copied and pasted into every post you write on your website, which will result in duplicate content for you in the search results.

There is a formula to it that makes it easy to write content that is helpful for readers, and relatively quick and painless for you.

If the template is all original language, you can swap in synonyms for words and phrases you see in it.

It is important to note that this post gives you a template to help you start writing, but there are other components of a successful post that you should not ignore.

I mentioned it before, but what would a post be without a call-to-action? It wouldn't help you drive leads. To get more click-throughs, you should spend some time crafting an excellent title.

Did you include internal links to other pages on your website?

Remember that there are other structures that work. We don't follow the same structure for every post we write, and we have seen other structures that work well for them.

Go forth! Explore. Try something. Get creative.

The goal is not that you follow a rigid template, but that you consistently create content that helps your reader. This template should help you out of the rut if you are facing writer's block.
