Tucker Carlson, a host of Fox News, and a former congressman, Tulsi Gabbard, have defended Russian President Putin.

During a broadcast on Russian state television this week, one of Putin's most prominent propagandists referred to Gabbard in very friendly terms.

The Russian media analyst Julia Davis, a columnist for the Daily Beast, said that he introduced the Democratic primary candidate for the 2020 presidential race as our girlfriend.

On Monday's episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight, a clip of her appearance was aired, in which she suggested that President Joe Biden was scheming to remove Putin from power.

A panelist asked if she was some sort of Russian agent after the clip aired.

According to Davis, Soloviev said she was.

Biden was pushing for regime change in Russia through economic warfare, according to Gabbard.

They are trying to starve the Russian people in the hope that the military will rise up and overthrow the government in order to get rid of Putin.

Biden said during a speech in Poland that Putin cannot remain in power. White House officials quickly clarified that Biden was not advocating for regime change in Russia, but that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region.

Biden is lying about his true motives, and it was not a gaffe at all.

The rhetoric of Putin is nothing new for the former congresswoman from Hawaii. The war could have been avoided if NATO had acknowledged Russia, according to the man.

She has lent credence to a Russian-backed conspiracy theory that the U.S. had biological and chemical weapons in its possession.

Hillary Clinton suggested in an interview that Russia was grooming a long shot in the Democratic presidential field, who would run as a third-party candidate. The defamation lawsuit against Clinton was dropped after the comment.

Carlson is a favorite of Russian propagandists. The Fox News host has been featured on Russian state-sponsored television multiple times for his defense of Russia and criticisms of the U.S., NATO and Ukraine, and was endorsed by the Kremlin in a leaked memo to state media.

He promoted a theory that Islamic extremists would use the country's nuclear weapons on Americans if Putin were removed.
