The Lakers star left the road trip early to continue his ankle rehabilitation in Los Angeles, according to the team.

James was not going to play in the Utah Jazz game. He has been dealing with an ankle injury and didn't play in Tuesday's 128-110 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Anthony Davis is questionable for Thursday. He has not played since February 16, when he injured his foot.
