Donald Trump has once again caused controversy with his comments about the Russian President.

Trump talked about the war in Ukraine in an interview with a conservative journalist. Trump called on the Russian president to give information about Hunter Biden, the son of Joe Biden, who is the target of a renewed GOP and Russian propaganda campaign.

Trump is trying to exploit the war in Ukraine to attack the Bidens, and he and his allies have been promoting conspiracy theories about the Bidens for years.

Solomon was one of the architects.

In the early years of Trump's presidency, Solomon produced a series of columns for The Hill that alleged corruption by his father and dubious business dealings by Hunter Biden.

His background at mainstream outlets like the AP lent credibility to the columns, which were widely cited in conservative media. Solomon was a frequent guest on Sean Hannity's show.

They formed part of the web of conspiracy theories and false claims that led to the impeachment of Trump.

Solomon's credibility took a major hit when The Hill found that he had omitted important details in his articles about the Bidens.

The publication found that Solomon had not disclosed that Rudy Giuliani was one of the key sources for his articles.

Three attorneys played key roles in propagating the Biden/Ukraine narrative, distributing conspiracy theories and misinformation about the Bidens in order to help Trump's reelection campaign.

Solomon was working as a commentator for Fox News. He was warned in an internal memo that he had promoted misinformation about Ukraine.

The old lies are being used again, and not just by Trump.

Hunter Biden and other Republican hate figures have been tied to Russia's campaign of misinformation about the US.

Insider has been told that the campaign is an attempt to get conservative support for the invasion of Ukraine.
