According to sources, Martial would prefer a move to Italy or Spain if he leaves Manchester United permanently in the summer.
Martial, who has a contract at United until 2024 with the option of another year, has scored one goal in eight appearances on loan at Sevilla but the Spanish side have indicated they are not likely to pursue a permanent move at the end of the season.
Edinson Cavani is set to leave at the end of the season and United are looking for a replacement. A number of clubs in Italy, Spain and South America are interested in signing Edinson Cavani.
