Nasser Al-Khelaifi
Nine of the original 12 European Super league clubs - including six Premier League teams - pulled out

The potential for a European Super League is no longer present, according to the chairman of the European Clubs Association.

The new midweek league, which saw 12 of Europe's biggest clubs sign up, collapsed within 72 hours after being met with fierce opposition.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus are still supporting them.

The non-Super League does not exist, said Al-Khelaifi.

The ECA chairman, who is also the president of French giants Paris St-Germain, said that the first version was not the second. The fans, the media, clubs, small and big clubs are all against it.

Three teams are only three. They enjoy playing in the Uefa competition. They enjoy playing in the best competition.

I don't think they can do something like this because we are united.

The matter has been taken to the courts by three sides.

The case will go to the European Court of Justice for a ruling on whether Uefa's control of European football constitutes a monopoly that would make it in violation of competition law.

The chance to join the league was turned down by Al Khelaifi.

The Super League clubs were wrong on every single angle according to the 48 year old.

The revenue from European club competitions is expected to increase between the seasons.
