Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens are part of Russia's invasion of Ukraine because of their opposition to US support for the country, according to Wladimir Klitschko.

The brother of the mayor of Kyiv made comments during an appearance on The Balance.

He was responding to a question about what he would say to a small group of Americans who believe the conflict in Ukraine is not America's problem.

The United States and the Western world share the same principles of freedom and democracy. Blood is on your hands if you are passive observing.

He said that if you still have business and trade with Russia, you are putting bullets and rockets into the Russian army.

A few weeks before Russia invaded the country, the Ukrainian Territorial Defence Force was joined by a former boxing champion. The former boxing champion has been the mayor of Kyiv.

Carlson questioned why the US should assist the fight against Russia when he praised Putin before the invasion.

Carlson was still critical of the support for Ukraine by Americans earlier this month, even though he has changed his view of Putin.

Owens received backlash for suggesting that Putin was responsible for a genocide in the country, and for saying that Ukraine was not a thing until 1989.

The Russian embassy in Washington D.C. endorsed her words after she said "Russian lives matter".

Owens and Carlson did not reply immediately.
