Most people agree that there are some of the best speakers and soundbars on the market. More often than not, the speakers made by Sonos boast great sound quality, support for all the major streaming platforms, and simple multi-room functions. All of those perks come at a high price. Outside of the occasional rogue discount, the products are not cheap and rarely go on sale. There are ways to save at least a few dollars on Sonos gear.

You could save a decent amount if you are comfortable buying refurbished. It's easier to set up an entire home audio system with discounted bundles that include Sonos products, which makes it more convenient to save money. If you are a student, you can join the program and get a 15 percent discount when you spend over $2,500 on full-priced speakers and accessories.

These discounts can be hard to find. We have put together a list of the best Sonos deals you can take advantage of. We will guide you through the best sales to help you get the best price.

The portable Roam offers the best water resistance of any speaker in the Sonos lineup.

Sonos Roam deals

One of the clearest, most pleasant portable speakers we have ever used is the Sonos Roam, and we recommend it as a personal speaker for small gatherings. It has a rugged design, a relatively durable build, and support for both Amazon and Google Assistant. It's compatible with Apple's AirPlay 2, which lets you stream music from an iPad or Mac over your home network. It's the first speaker with a dust and water resistance rating, which means you can use it in the bathroom or near pools.

You can play audio over your entire system if you pair two in stereo, but Sonos won't let you do that. It only has 10 hours of battery life, which isn't great, and it can be difficult to use the speaker outside of your home.

It's a good portable speaker that you can buy in refurbished condition at Best Buy in white and black for less than the retail price. If you can't afford the microphones, Sonos has recently started selling the Roam for less than the current retail price. Read our review.

The rugged design of the Sonos Roam speaker is built to endure the elements. It also has wireless charging and supports a number of electronic devices.

The newer Sonos Five sounds exactly like its fantastic predecessor, the Play:5.

Sonos Five (2020) deals

The Play:5 music speaker was replaced by the Sonos Five in 2020. The Play:5 was ideal for large rooms or parties, so it should offer the same high-quality listening experience. There aren't many noticeable differences. The successor to the Play:5 has increased memory and processing power, as well as a new wireless radio. All-black or all-white options are available. Every other speaker in the current Sonos lineup has a built-in microphone and support for Amazon's voice assistant.

You can get a refurbished model of the speaker for less than the original price at Best Buy. You can buy a new set of two for $1,049 instead of $1,098 from B&H Photo if you want a pair. The Sonos Five and a Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable are included in the $949 set.

The speaker has a powerful sound and a lot of volume.

You can connect the speaker to the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable in the Turntable set.

The last-gen Sonos Beam offers great TV sound quality but, unlike the second-gen model, lacks support for Dolby Atmos.

Sonos Beam (first-gen) deals

The first-gen Sonos Beam is an entry-level soundbar that can be used as both a smart speaker and a soundbar for smart TVs. It improves TV sound quality and is easy to set up and use, which was praised by us in our review. It's not as good as other speakers in the lineup for just playing music, but it's a good buy if you're adding it to an existing setup. Touch controls and support for Apple's AirPlay 2 and Amazon's voice assistants are included in the entry-level Sonos Beam. The second-gen Beam doesn't support Dolby Atmos and an eARC HDMI port, but it still remains a competent soundbar.

You can buy a refurbished, first-gen Boam from Sonos for $319 instead of the new price of $399, which is the price it retails for when sold new. Read the review.

Any sound coming out of your TV can be improved with the Beam.

The small Sonos One supports a range of music services and comes with a good microphone.

Sonos One (second-gen) deals

The speaker has a microphone for voice control. It emits balanced, full-bodied sound that is impressive for its size and integrates well with existing Sonos products. The process for setting up voice assistants can be difficult and the speaker supports a range of music services. Touch controls and support for AirPlay 2 are available thanks to a post-launch software update.

While there are no deals on the stand-alone speaker, you can buy a two-room set for $419 instead of $438 from B&H Photo. Read the review.

The sound is rich and detailed. The compact smart speaker supports a wide range of music services and has good voice microphones.

Sonos Immersive Set with Beam deals

Everything you need for a surround sound setup is in the Immersive Set. It comes with a second-gen Sonos Beam, which offers better performance than its first-gen predecessor, and comes with a HDMI eARC. The package also comes with two speakers that are similar to the Sonos One smart speaker, and a sub that takes care of the low-end bass while you watch TV shows and movies. You can buy the entire set in either black or white with delayed shipping at B&H Photo for less than the normal price.

The Immersive Set is a 3.1 surround sound bundle that includes two smart speakers, a second-gen Sonos Beam, and a Sonos Sub.
