Vice Chair Liz Cheney said Monday that former President Trump was warned of the possibility of violence at the Capitol on January 6.

The committee is tipping its hand in order to paint a picture of a president who put lawmakers at risk in order to overturn the election.

Cheney said at the Monday hearing that the committee has interviewed hundreds of witnesses with knowledge of the events of January 6.
