The silent body camera footage showed a Florida police officer chokes his female colleague after she pulled him away from a Black man. The audio shows what the cop had said to the suspect and what caused the junior officer to intervene.

A man is accused of attacking people outside a convenience store. A man was handcuffed and tried to get into a police vehicle. Christopher Pullease pointed a Mace canister at him while cursing at the man as he arrived on the scene.

Look at me. Look at me! Do you want to play games? You're playing with the wrong motherfucker, Pullease tells the handcuffed man entering the police cruiser.

The suspect responds, "Do what you gotta do, man." Mace me.

The sergeant leans into the vehicle to get closer to the handcuffed man.

Look at me, motherfucker. Do you want to play games? Pullease shouted, "You wanna be disrespectful with my officers?"

Body camera footage shows the female officer grabbing the back of Pullease's belt to pull him out of the car, as shown in body camera footage belonging to another officer on the scene. The junior cop, who has about two years of experience on the force, appears to be trying to deescalate Pullease's confrontation with the suspect.

The sergeant grabbed her by the throat and backed her up against the patrol car.

What the fuck? Don't touch me again, the sergeant says.

The junior officer was told by Pullease that he would see him in about five minutes.

The video with sound was released by the Sunrise police department after the video was published by the television station.

Pullease, who has been with the department for over 21 years, was suspended in November with pay after an internal investigation into his behavior. The sergeant is the subject of a criminal investigation by the State Attorney's Office. The internal investigation of the department has been paused due to the criminal allegations.

The need to keep audio out has ended, the spokesman said.

Marsy's Law allows crime victims and police officers to remain anonymous in order to maintain safety against people who may retaliate. The junior officer requested that her identity be protected as a victim.

I'm very proud of this police officer. Sunrise Police Chief Anthony Rosa said in an interview that she took some definitive action. She is a newer officer and he is a very senior sergeant.

The department has implemented policies requiring intervention and deescalation.

The chief told the Miami station that the training that the police department does is a direct reflection of the officer intervening.
