The intelligence service of Ukraine warned Russia that their war was dragging on with little progress from Putin's forces.

Ukraine's intelligence service wrote on the social networking site that they have sources in the Kremlin, but they need jets.

In a recent interview with Coffee or Die Magazine, Budanov said that his intelligence agency has people working in the army, the political circles and the administration of the president.

He told the magazine that Ukraine's access to its undercover sources and cyber intelligence allowed it to understand more about Russia's plans.

Budanov told Coffee or Die Magazine that the recent attacks on Russian convoys near Kyiv and the destruction of a Russian landing ship near Mariupol are examples of how Ukraine can rely on its source to launch strikes on Russian targets.

Budanov told the magazine that Ukraine has been able to keep an eye on Russia's military plans.

He told the magazine that they have made progress in cyber intelligence.

Putin's forces have failed to conquer the country since they invaded it on February 24.

Insider reported earlier this month that the Russian military's counterintelligence division ordered a hunt for the source of Russia's military mistakes.

Russia's defense ministry said it would focus on the eastern part of the country after being unable to break past the resistance of the Ukrainians.

Budanov said on Sunday that Russia is trying to split Ukraine in two and create a Moscow-backed state in the east and south of the country.
