Terminal three will be gradually reopened.

The plan will begin with the terminal being used for arriving passengers.

When they return to Manchester, they will go through security in terminal one, but they will not be able to check-in at terminal three.

Passengers are advised to consider the changes when making parking, drop-off and pick-up arrangements because the two terminals are directly next to each other.

Flybe will fly into terminal three once they resume services from Manchester later in the year.

The airport will reopen its second runway next Tuesday in order to allow for more flights.

Initially it will operate for a limited number of hours each day and will gradually increase as demand increases.

As the airport ramps up capacity in line with the recovery of passenger numbers, the check-in hall and security will be reopened at a later stage.

After almost two years of being closed, it is a positive step forward to be able to partially reopen terminal three and operate from both runways.

Since Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, there has been an increase in passenger numbers, which is projected to continue into the summer.

People who are affected by these changes should make sure they are aware of this when making their travel arrangements.
