Did Will Smith really hit Chris Rock at the Oscars?

It looks like Will Smith slapped Chris Rock in the face in defense of his wife at the Oscars.

Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett- Smith being in G.I. Jane because of her shaved head. Alopecia is an autoimmune disorder that causes bald spots and hair loss.

Pinkett Smith shook her head and Will Smith laughed. Smith ran on stage, hit Rock and then walked off the stage. Rock said "oh wow, wow" after being hit in the uncensored exchange on Japanese television.

Rock said that Will Smith just hit him.

Smith yelled that he should keep his wife's name out of his mouth.

Rock said "WOW, dude."

Smith said yes.

Rock said it was a GI Jane joke.

Rock announced that Questlove won the Oscar for Best Original Documentary.

According to Variety, Smith's publicist walked over to Smith during the commercial break and the two had a discussion. Smith said Washington told him to be careful when the devil came for him during his acceptance speech for the Oscar.

Smith said that Williams was a fierce defender of his family. He apologized to the Academy and his fellow nominees, but not to Chris Rock.

Jada boycotting the Oscars is the same as me boycotting the panties of a singer. He said he wasn't invited. She said it came with the territory.
