After sharing it with every viewer of her new show, Amy Schumer is done keeping this secret.

The comic, writer, director, and star of "Life and Beth" is opening up about using the show as a way in which she can relate.

The native New Yorker told The Hollywood Reporter that he has a secret.

Schumer said that he was proud that his big secret only hurt him.

Beth Schumer had to get a wig before going back to school because she had pulled out so much hair.

When her family was upended by multiplesclerosis, her mother left him for the married father of Schumer's best friend, and she began to experience trichotillomania, she recalled.

Schumer said that she struggles with trichotillomania, and that she is worried about her son as well.

She told The Hollywood Reporter that she was having a heart attack every time he touched his head.

Schumer said she thought putting it in the show would be a good way to alleviate some of her shame.
