The foreign minister of Turkey said that Russian businessmen are welcome in the country as tourists and investors.

The politician said in an interview with CNBC that if any Russian citizens want to visit Turkey, they can. Russians are going to visit Turkey.

If it is legal and not against international law, then I will consider it, even if it is against the law in Turkey.

If it is against international law, that is another story.

The Turkish foreign minister's office didn't respond to Insider's request for comment outside of normal working hours.

Some of the assets of Russian billionaires have been seized. The two multimillion-dollar superyachts owned by Roman Abramovich were spotted in Turkey's coastal waters. One of Russia's richest men, Alexei Mordashov, had a yacht seized by Italy.

According to CNBC, Turkey said that it was okay to allow Russians into the country if they stayed out of the territorial waters of countries that extend 12 nautical miles from the coastline.

He told reporters that he traveled to Russia and Ukraine for talks.

Turkey, along with France and Greece, are going to take part in a mission to evacuate Mariupol's remaining inhabitants. NATO members are all countries.
