Qantas Will Fly Non-Stop Dallas To Melbourne!

Qantas will fly non-stop from Dallas Fort Worth to Melbourne on December 2. The service will be four times a week.

World’s Third Longest Flight

This will be the third longest flight. It is longer than the New York flight that Air New Zealand announced earlier in the week. When Qantas moves its London flight back to Perth from Darwin, it will be the fourth longest flight since Perth, which is 9,009 miles.

DFW Airport Gave It Away Earlier In The Day

It's odd to tease a major new route announcement on a Saturday morning and then announce it on a Saturday evening. As soon as DFW airport posted a video of Degraves Street in Melbourne, it was clear what was going on.

The American Airlines-Qantas joint venture will see more seasonal Australia/New Zealand as well as Europe and the South Pacific once American Airlines gets its delayed Boeing 787s delivered.

Air New Zealand is launching a three day a week service to New York JFK. This flight will be the third longest in the world. It will last 16 hours north and 17 hours south.
