According to multiple reports, Ronald Jones II has agreed to a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The only proven player at the running back position is the one under contract with the Chiefs. Their leading scorer from last season, Jerick McKinnon, is an unrestricted free agent.

Jones was a second-round pick. He started 25 games in four seasons. He led the team in rushing yards in both of the years. In the four seasons, he caught 76 passes and had a best of 31 in 2019.

After Leonard Fournette was signed by the Bucs, he fell out of favor with his coaches. Jones started three games and had 428 rushing yards and 10 catches.
