Reports say that Ukrainian forces have seized part of one of Russia's most advanced electronic warfare systems.

The Krasukha-4 command module was found abandoned on the outskirts of Kyiv, but it was undamaged.

Photos of the unit posted on social media show a container covered in tree branches, which may have been used as a camouflage attempt by retreating Russian forces.

According to The Times, the system is designed to jam satellites, drones, and missiles, but it is also able to track NATO aircraft.

A command post module and an electronic warfare system are mounted on two trucks.

According to The Telegraph, a Krasukha-4 system is believed to have been used against Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drones in Syria.

The Bayraktar TB2 drones are used by Ukrainian forces to destroy Russian tanks, armor, and truck convoys.

The unit will be examined by Western spy agencies before being flown to the US, according to The Telegraph.

Secrets of how the unit works could be revealed by examining it, which could help render it useless on the battlefield.

A military veteran and CEO of a risk analysis consultancy told The Times that there were lots of goodies recovered on the battlefield.

The lack of communication on the Russian side shows how scattered the fighting is.
