According to Jeremy Fowler, the Baltimore Ravens hosted a free-agent inside linebacker and have high interest in signing him.

The Los Angeles Rams visited the Seattle Seahawks this week as well, with the man who has made eight Pro Bowls during his 10-year career.

On March 9, Seattle released the 31-year-old in what amounted to a cost-cutting move. The salary cap was saved by letting him go.

He can still play at a high level. He made the Pro Bowl for the second year in a row.

If he lands in Baltimore, he would join a defense that has changed leadership. Mike Macdonald is the new defensive coordinator.

New Orleans Saints safety Marcus Williams signed a five-year, $70 million deal.

The nose tackle signed a three-year, $16.5 million contract. He moved to the Minnesota Vikings in 2020 and 2021.

The defense got hit hard with injuries last year, including DeShonElliott,Maroon Humphrey and Marcus Peters.

The defense should have a bounce-back season if it is healthy.

After missing the playoffs last year, Baltimore has the talent on both sides of the ball to make a return trip.

The Ravens would get one of the best linebackers the game has seen this century as they aim for their first title in 10 seasons.
