The company is testing a new interface with some users. The test comes a few months after the company announced that it was retiring its simplified automotive interface called "Car View", which displayed your current track when driving. At the time, it was said that it would be launching new features soon and that it was exploring new ways to deliver in-car listening experiences.
A new Car Mode is being tested for some users. We always seek feedback from our users before making any changes.
The new interface was spotted by 9to5Google. There is a version of Car Mode on the internet. The new interface is being tested with some users.
Car Mode allows users to browse and search for music using voice controls. Simple controls, such as a play/pause, skip shuffle and like buttons, are included in the Car Mode track player view. There is a microphone button that you can use to search in Car Mode. You can use the voice controls to listen to music. The layout is similar to the regular interface, but without a lot of visual distraction.

The final version of Car Mode may not look the same as seen in the screen shot, as the final version of the interface is still being tested and is looking for feedback from users who have access to it.
The new Car Mode is just one part of the effort to provide a seamless in-car listening experience. The company released its first hardware device called Car Thing in the U.S. The device is aimed at people who don't have a built-in in-vehicle entertainment system that gives them easy access to Spotify. Car Thing was made available to the general public in November.
Car Thing uses your phone's cellular signal to stream your music or podcasts over the car's sound system. The device can be used with a variety of technologies. You can use one of the four preset buttons at the top of the player to access the service.
In order to listen to music and podcasts hands-free while driving, you need to integrate the Spotify service with the Google Assistant. You can use the feature to navigate while listening to Spotify. You can link your accounts and say "Hey Google, play Spotify."
Spotify’s in-car entertainment device ‘Car Thing’ is now publicly available
