The Washington Post reported Thursday that Ginny Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, called Republican lawmakers who didn't challenge the election resultspathetic.

In a November 10, 2020, text to MarkMeadows, Thomas expressed frustration at the lack of Republicans unifying behind President Donald Trump and his claims that the 2020 election was rigged because of widespread voter fraud. Federal, state, and local officials have said that the 2020 race was fair and accurate.

In the aftermath of the election, Trump and his allies launched legal challenges to overturn the results in several states.

The House and Senate are pathetic. Gohmert, Jordan, Gosar, and Roy were all mentioned by Thomas in his text. The lawmakers voted to object to the certification of the 2020 election results on January 6, 2021, except Roy, who criticized Trump in the wake of the Capitol riot.

Where are all the people who benefited from Presidents coattails?

CNN reported on Thursday that the House select committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riot received thousands of text messages from Meadows. Between November 2020 and January 2021, the committee had 29 texts exchanged between Thomas and Meadows. In the messages, Thomas urged the other side not to concede the election and to try to overturn it.

The new revelations come after Thomas admitted in an interview with the Washington Free Beacon that she attended the Stop the Steal rally near the White House. She said she got cold and left before Trump gave his speech.

In that same interview, Thomas said she and her husband Clarence have their own careers and opinions too.

Clarence doesn't discuss his work with me, and I don't involve him in my work.
