According to a source, the wide receiver is signing a three-year deal worth up to $36 million with the Kansas City Chiefs.

With the move, Valdes-Scantling goes from the reigning Most Valuable Player in Green Bay Packers quarterback Rodgers to a former Most Valuable Player in Patrick Mahomes.

The deal comes a day after the Chiefs traded Hill to the Dolphins.

After trading star wide receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders last week, the Packers will have to find a new wide receiver.

Since entering the NFL in the year of 2018, the speedster has averaged over 17 yards per catch, which is the fourth-highest average in the league. He is the only player in the league to rank in the top 10 in yards per catch in each of the past three seasons.

James Lofton was the only player in Packers history with 25-plus catches and 15-plus yards per catch in each of his first four seasons.

After playing in every game for the first three years of his career, Valdes-Scantling missed six games last season because of injuries. He only had 26 catches for a career low of 430 yards and three touchdown.

In his first three seasons with the Packers, Valdes-Scantling dropped 12 passes, but still made it through the entire season without a drop.

He has 123 catches for 2,153 yards and 13 touchdown in 59 games.
