The sneaker free agency of LaVine has come to an end.
New Balance has a multiyear shoe deal with the Chicago Bulls star.
"I'm partnering with a brand that invests in me and I'm investing in them, so I'm extremely happy."
LaVine had a four-year deal with Adidas.
At the time, it was reported that Nike had the ability to match the offer, but it did not.
After his contract with Adidas expired, LaVine went back to wearing Nikes on the court in the preseason.

During the All-Star Weekend in Cleveland, LaVine was wearing the New Balance Two WXY during the Three-Point Contest and All-Star Game.
Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is the only NBA player with a signature shoe. It is not clear if LaVine will get his own.
Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics, Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets, Dejounte Murray of the San Antonio Spurs, and Tyrese Maxey of the Philadelphia 76ers are also in the NBA.
LaVine was named to the All-Star Game for the second year in a row. The Bulls' second-leading scorer is shooting 40.0 percent from three-point range.
The Bulls are currently fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 42-30 record.
