The world order that had been in place since the end of the Cold War has been upended by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, according to Larry Fink, the CEO and chairman of the world's biggest asset manager.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has left many communities and people feeling isolated. I believe this has made the behavior of extremists worse.

The letter came a month into Russia's invasion of Ukraine, with Moscow forces bombarding cities and killing civilians unable to escape. The U.S. and its allies have imposed sanctions on Russia.

The economic war against Russia has been launched by nations and governments. He said that the purchase of Russian securities in the active or index portfolios was being suspended.

Over the past few weeks, I have spoken to many stakeholders, including our clients and employees, who are looking to understand what could be done to prevent capital from being deployed to Russia.

When the world emerged from the Cold War, Russia was welcomed into the global financial system and given access to global capital markets. He said globalization increased international trade, grew global capital markets and increased economic growth.

The rise of globalization and the growth of the capital markets fueled the need for technology-driven asset management when it was founded 34 years ago.

I believe in the benefits of globalization and the power of global capital markets. Companies are able to fund growth, countries are able to increase economic development, and more people are able to experience financial well-being because of access to global capital.

The CEO said that he wanted to understand how to navigate this new investment environment and that he was committed to monitoring the direct and indirect impacts of the crisis.

The money we manage is for our clients. We work to understand how changes around the world will affect their investment outcomes.
