David Solomon, the CEO of Goldman Sachs, will be DJing at the music festival alongside celebrities like Doja Cat and Green Day.

Solomon, who typically DJs under the name D-Sol, was listed under his full name on the festival's line-up. The festival will take place at Grant Park in Chicago.

Solomon will be performing at the music festival, according to a Goldman Sachs spokesman. Solomon advertised the gig on his social media accounts, writing that he was excited to play atollapalooza for the first time this summer.

Solomon said in his post that the proceeds from the gig would go to various nonprofits.

Around 400,000 people attend the four-day festival in 2019. The festival tickets start at $350 and can go up to $4,200.

Solomon usually DJs at four to six events a year, with the profits from his appearances donated to charity. While some executives play golf, Solomon DJs.

Solomon said that he stumbled into it as a hobby and now does it for fun.

He was the opening act for electronic music duo The Chainsmokers at a charity event back in 2020 and that caused some controversy. The New York health authorities investigated the event for violations of social-distancing measures.

Solomon earned $35 million last year as the CEO of Goldman Sachs, a job which he doesn't do when he isn't DJing.

Solomon said this year that workers want more transparency and authenticity from their bosses, but he doubled down on calls for Goldman workers to return to the office full-time.

Solomon has spoken out about the conflict. Solomon said in a Time interview that it was not Wall Street's job to "ostracize Russia", despite calls on social media for financial firms to boycott the country.
