When rule-breaking tourists interfered, the spectacle of a cheetah hunting an impala turned into an angry spectacle. The video is below.

In a video posted Tuesday by latest sightings from South Africa, a quick cat chases a prey in an impala herd into a spectator's car.

Many people hung out of their parked cars to view the action, violating the park's rules and apparently scaring the cheetah.

The impala lay stunned next to the car as the big cat retreated to the bush.

Some people who watched the footage expressed their displeasure at the visitors.

One person wrote that it was unethical from an animal stewardship perspective.

Both prey and predator were affected by the traffic and human noise.

Sarah Oxley, the project administrator for Latest Sightings, which posts wildlife videos from Kruger National Park, told HuffPost Wednesday that it is sad to see many visitors breaking the rules.

There are so many people at the location because the traffic built up quickly and it was near a popular entry point into the park.
