Republican Senate candidates Herschel Walker and Mehmet Oz have been asked to quit their positions on a presidential council by President Biden.
Oz, who is a candidate in Pennsylvania, said in a post that he was asked to resign from the President's Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition.
Oz released a video showing a letter from the administration. Oz will be ousted at 6 p.m. on Wednesday if he doesn't resign.
It is sad that he would politicize such an important issue. Oz said in the caption of the video that the doctor he should ask to resign is Dr. Fauci.
CNN reported that a letter was sent to Walker, who is running in Georgia.
The White House does not allow people running for federal office to be on presidential boards.
The two candidates were nominated by the former president.
