According to league sources, the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are in talks to trade for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Sources say that Hill will get a massive contract extension from the team that trades for him.

The Jets and Dolphins emerged as the two finalist teams in a potential Hill trade, according to sources.

Sources said that the star wide receiver could be leaving Kansas City. A decision is likely in the next 48 hours.

The Dolphins assistant general manager Marvin Allen was the director of college scouting for the Chiefs for five years.

Both the Jets and the Dolphins need a wide receiver to help their young quarterbacks.

Hill, who has been selected to the Pro Bowl in all six seasons of his career, had a career-best 111 catches for 1,239 yards and nine touchdown last season.

He has 479 catches for 6, 630 yards and 56 touchdown in his career.

If the Chiefs trade Hill, they would include free-agent additions JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, Josh Gordon, Justin Watson, Cornell Powell, and Gehrig Dieter.

The team is expected to add wide receivers in free agency and the draft.
