Another major step was taken by the move into robotics by NVIDIA. The new Jetson AGX Orin developer kit is eight times more powerful than the old Jetson AGX Xavier and is now selling for $1,999. It's capable of these speeds thanks to its 12-core ARM CPUs, Ampere-based GPU and other upgrades. The Jetson AGX Orin modules and the sensors needed for a robot to detect the world around it are included in the new Isaac Nova Orin platform. The platform can handle a lot of things.

You might have to wait for the robot innovations from NVIDIA. Most of this will come before the end of 2022, with a basic Orin NX kit set to debut in Q4. Prospective clients are probably not you and me, but the past robot brain tech has been used in John Deere's tractor.
