Most airline loyalty programs don't offer compelling bonuses for new members. One exception is the Privilege Club, which offers bonuses for new members who register with a promotion code.

Should you join Qatar Airways Privilege Club?

The Privilege Club program has not been at the top of my list of favorite frequent flyer programs. There are better oneworld frequent flyer programs. If you want to redeem for travel on Qatar Airways, booking through American AAdvantage is the better option.

The program has become more compelling, and there are reasons to sign up.
