Everyone has done it. Obi-Wan admits he does it too. We are talking about pretending you are using the Force when entering automatic doors.
The conversation turned to Jedi mind tricks when Ewan spoke about his upcoming show Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi. The actor said he has never been able to do that, but he did feel like a Jedi at one point.
I always do a Jedi move for the doors and have been caught doing it. When I'm at the supermarket or something, I wheel my trolley out. It's always for my amusement, but occasionally I've been caught doing that and it's kind of embarrassing. Isn't it difficult not to? It is fun. It feels powerful if the timing is right.
It's so charming that this, besides everything, is that McGregor has played a Jedi in Star Wars movies and shows. Attack of the Clones has a scene of him doing this. He used to mind trick a Death Stick dealer. He uses Jedi powers in situations that are realistic. His passion for Star Wars continues into a trip to the supermarket.
