Zion shows off with ridiculous between-the-legs jam (0:16)

As he continues to rehabilitate from a foot injury, Zion throws it to himself off the backboard for an impressive dunk. There is a time and a place.

While he rehabilitates his fractured right foot, Zion Williamson has tried to keep a low profile on social media.

That changed on Tuesday night.

A five-second clip to his account shows him throwing the ball off the backboard, catching the ball and going between his legs before finishing with a left-handed slam.

After spending two months in Portland, he returned to the New Orleans area on March 5.

He hasn't been cleared by the team to do much on-court work since he returned. During the portions of practice that have been open to the media, he has only done light shooting with his player development coaches.

Since March 5, when the team said he was showing improved signs of bone healing and would gradually progress to full weight-bearing exercises and basketball activities, the team has not given an official update on his status.

It was announced at media day in September that he had a broken jaw, but that he would be ready for the start of the season.

There have been many setbacks throughout the season.

He was close to returning in December, but the team held him out and announced he was scaling back his progression to 5-on-5 work.

He had an injection in his foot six days after the team announced he was going to be dialed back even more.

He left the team in January to continue his rehabilitation in Portland, but returned at the beginning of the month.

When he tore his right knee in the first 13 weeks of the season, he played just 24 games in three seasons. The original timetable for that injury was 6-9 weeks.
