The second launch that Russia has performed since invading Ukraine was today. The International Space Station was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on March 18.

The trio entered the lab a few hours later, wearing yellow and blue flight suits. Some people speculated that the cosmonauts may have been supporting the invaded nation. Russian space officials did not agree with that interpretation.

The French company Arianespace was supposed to launch 36 internet satellites from Baikonur on March 4.

Russia&s federal space agency demanded that OneWeb guarantee that its satellites wouldn't be used for military purposes and that the United Kingdom give up its stake in OneWeb. The Soyuz was taken off the pad shortly before the liftoff.

OneWeb has found a way to get its satellites up. The company announced on Monday that it has signed a launch deal.
