NYC man charged with smearing feces on woman’s face held on bail for new crime: ‘What I’m going to do next is going to shock the city’

A man who was released without bail after attacking a man in Brooklyn with his own feces begged police to keep him in.

After his arrest for going on workers at a Washington Heights self storage facility, Frank Abrokwa warned a cop not to let him out again.

He finally got his wish. A homeless man was ordered held on $5,000 bail by a judge after he smashed a window at a storage facility.

Employees said that Abrokwa came into the business carrying a dumbbell and began screaming at them, demanding a refund on the unit he rented there.

He ran after smashing a window. He came back a short time later as workers cleaned up the glass.

According to prosecutors, he screamed, "I want a refund!" I broke the glass because of that.

The next day, Abrokwa demanded his money back.

If I don't get my refund by Monday, I'm going to catch a felony, according to court papers.

The business manager called the police, who took Abrokwa into custody and charged him with criminal mischief and harassment.

He told a cop inside the 32nd Precinct stationhouse that he was going to shock the city if he was let out again.

The assistant district attorney noted that Abrokwa had been arrested twice in Manhattan before, on assault charges that weren't bail eligible.

State law allows for bail to be requested on class A misdemeanors, like the criminal mischief charge Abrokwa was facing, after a defendant has been released without bail on a similar crime. The bail for Friday's arrest should be $5,000.

Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Michael Gaffey ordered a psych exam.

Abrokwa is being held on Rikers Island and is expected to return to court on April 11.

Abrokwa was arrested for putting his own feces on a woman at a Bronx train station. He was accused of attacking a Brooklynite.

None of the charges qualified for bail under the state's bail reform laws.

During his court appearance for the foul accusation, Abrokwa cursed at the judge and left the courthouse with a smile on his face.
