A law enforcement officer was called in after Ted Cruz got into a heated argument with airline attendees at an airport.

A video posted to the internet shows a senator talking to two United Airlines representatives after he missed the check-in window.

Scott Humphrey, a deputy director of the airport, said that a law enforcement officer was sent to help with the situation.

Humphrey told The Daily Mail that one of their Public Safety Officers was asked to assist a passenger at the United ticket counter.

Cruz left the airport later that evening after he was booked on another flight.

He said that the PSO didn't realize he was dealing with Cruz until after the fact.

The Hill reached out to Cruz's office.
