The Meta-owned messaging service that boasts over two billion users worldwide is testing out a new feature. According to a reliable source of upcoming features, users of the service will be able to respond to incoming messages with a quick and easy way to do so.

With a long press of a received message, the feature lets users react with one of six emoji: thumbs up, heart, crying, laugher, shocked face, or folded hands. We were unable to get the feature to show up on our screen.

There are signs that the service is going to include emoji reactions in its applications. The settings for action notifications and a similar setting appeared in the desktop version of the app earlier this month.

There are many messaging services that have become popular due to the use of the eimoji. One of the world's most popular messaging apps is getting in on the action.
