Police were called to the United Airlines ticket counter in Montana after Senator Ted Cruz arrived at the airport past the check-in cutoff. At the end of spring break, rebooking options were limited and the Senator who has experience fleeing the snow on United became angry.
The Senator demanded to speak to the person who took the video.

One of our Public Safety Officers (PSO) was in the ticket lobby and was asked to assist with a frustrated passenger at the United ticket counter (which is not unusual). The passenger had missed the check-in window for his flight and re-booking options were limited out of Bozeman due to Spring Break.
Once travel options were explained to the passenger, he was rebooked and departed Bozeman later that evening. Our PSO didn’t realize he was dealing with Senator Cruz until after the fact.
Cruz claims that airline employees hug him when he flies United. The check-in agents might be surprised by that.

No longer is nursing your nuts an excuse to go maskless on an aircraft. If it is going to be more than a couple of seconds, put your mask back on.

Ted Cruz and his family traveled to Mexico. He says he was just taking his children down, but the ticket was booked to return Saturday and then changed to fly back Thursday after a backlash for leaving his home state.
In passengers.
The doctor was kicked off the flight in Chicago on Sunday. The videos of the incident are disturbing and cringe-worthy. Even now, several days later, that is just watching. That is not how Dr. David Dao did it. Outrage can happen.
