Harajuku's Awesome Boy Vintage has abetted its curated selection of vintage clothing with customized patchwork goods for several seasons now, mashing together bits of old stock into brand new garments. For Spring/Summer 2020, the store is offering another special array of one-offs, including cargo-pocketed sports jerseys and half-and-half trousers.

More bold pieces include fleece quarter-zips set into football team-branded sweaters and sports hoodies mashed-up with jerseys for a half-pullover/half-button-up fusion. The aforementioned jersey edits also include baseball and football jerseys cut into button-up shirts, occasionally upgraded with D-ring-laden cargo pockets. 50/50 gowns are complemented by hybrid pants that see chinos and track bottoms pieced together with sections of camouflage pants, while long work shorts are bolstered by new cargo pockets. A selection of proper vintage base layers, including Kangol hats and "NYC" belt buckles ground the styling with a sense of '90s slouch.

Meanwhile, Korea's GAKURO has a similar idea for its Fall/Winter 2019 offering, delivering an array of patchworked sportswear goods alongside its own wares.
