If you buy V-Bucks, select cosmetic packs and other items, whatever money you get will go to organizations that are providing emergency aid, shelter and other forms of support to Ukrainians right now. If gift card purchases are redeemed during the two-week period, the proceeds will be donated.
Four relief organizations are participating in the effort. Outside of the two mentioned above, the UN's Refugee Agency and Food Programme are also involved. More organizations will join in the coming weeks.
Great to see gaming community come together. In addition to joining with @FortniteGame and our Microsoft Rewards for UNICEF, our employee donations and matching contributions are focused on providing aid to Ukrainian families. https://t.co/a0sAYud9FQ

Microsoft is taking part in the initiative. Net proceeds from the sale of all of the Fortnite content on the Microsoft Store will be contributed by the company. Over the next two weeks, it will try to send any relief funds it can. The company won't wait to get the money from its platform and payment partners. As it logs transactions, it will send the funds.
The people of Ukraine are getting support from a video game company. Riot Games ran a player fundraiser where it said it would donate proceeds from the sale of in-game passes and League of Legends skins. The studio said players had raised more than $2 million. Itch.io and Humble Bundle offer bundles with all the proceeds going to relief organizations supporting those affected by the conflict.
