It is almost time for Bridgerton to sweep back into our lives in all its glory, but some of us could use a reminder of what happened in the addicting series that aired on the streaming service in December of 2020.

There are a lot of recurring characters in the Bridgerton novels, including the youngest two Bridgertons, who we are not ready to commit to memory. To keep things simple, we will go by family and only catch up with the Season 1 characters who play a significant role in Season 2.

Everyone left off on Bridgerton here.

The Bridgerton family welcomed their son into the world. She and Duke Simon of Hastings ignored their communication issues and had a child, so they will never have any problems again. If you're planning to watch just for a glimpse of Jean Page's hotness, you're setting yourself up for failure.

The focus has shifted to the shocking decision to find a wife after things ended with Siena. Everyone involved in this courting has their work cut out for them because Anthony doesn't believe in love.

Colin decided to travel the world after having his heart broken by Marina, and Benedict grew increasingly interested in art, to say nothing of the attractive men teaching him about it.

The biggest Featherington revelation was that young Penelope was behind Lady Whistledown. She kept Whistledown's identity a secret, but she was determined to find out who he was. Lady Whistledown will have to get creative if she wants to stay out of the public eye.

The Featheringtons have no money to speak of and no man in the house to bail them out. Lord Featherington was supposed to die off-screen in the Season 1 finale. Will his financial mismanagement catch up with his family?

The crown & the town

Most of the ton does not matter in a show named after one family, but a few key players are still in the mix.

The Duke was close to being taken away by the Prince, but things did not work out, so she is still very much in play. The queen gets more involved this season because she wants to avoid the reality of her husband's memory problems.

You don't need a primer on Kate and her friend, other than that they're new to this scene, the talk of the town, and that's all you need. When Season 2 begins, everything else will be explained.

March 25 is when Bridgerton returns to the streaming service.
