Seven people have been charged by the French authorities for their alleged involvement in the Lupin robbery. The set of the popular film was broken into by some 20 masked thieves on February 25th in a suburb of Paris. The cast and crew of the film were not injured when the perpetrators set off fireworks to carry out the robbery. Police charged seven people with armed robbery as part of an organized gang. Three of the accused are in custody and the other four are under judicial supervision. The youngest person in the group is 13 years old. Some of the equipment that was stolen during the robbery has been recovered, but police are still looking for everyone involved in the incident. This year, there have been at least two other projects that have fallen victim to a robbery. Thieves made off with $200,000 worth of antique props after breaking into vehicles used for the production of The Crown.
