Two leading candidates in the Republican primary for the US Senate race in Ohio squared off during a heated exchange at a debate on Friday evening.
Josh Mandel, the former Ohio state treasurer, stood up and confronted Mike Gibbons, an investment banker, during the debate.
Mandel stood up as Gibbons told him that he had never worked in the private sector.
Mandel, a Marine Corps veteran, said as he got nose-to-nose with Gibbons, who can be heard saying, "You don't."

The crowd booed as both men told each other to back off. Mandel can be heard saying "You watch what happens."
The word "pussy" can be heard, but it is not clear who said it. Mandel sat down.
The other GOP primary candidates looked on as the exchange unfolded.
Gibbons Mandel denounced Mandel's aggressive actions in a statement provided to Insider.
Josh Mandel is flailing because he is losing. He is only a professional at one thing, and that is running for office.
Ohio voters got a first-hand look at how unprepared Josh Mandel has become and that will be reflected on the ballot on May 3.
When asked about the word "pussy", Cotten said Gibbons was not the one to use it.
Mandel and his campaign did not reply immediately.
According to polling, Gibbons and Mandel are leading the race. They are running to replace Rob Portman.
During the debate, Vance took aim at Mandel for his comment about his service.
The Marine Corps veteran said that the way Josh used the US Marine Corps was "disgraceful".
Hold me back, this guy wants to be a US Senator. Hold me back! He said that he got two tours in the Marine Corps.
