In his return to the UFC, the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world wants to win a third title.

He hasn't fought since he was defeated byDustin Poirier in the UFC. The fight ended in the first round when McGregor broke his leg. He had surgery that same month and has been recovering ever since.

The Irishman said he could return as soon as late summer and would like to challenge Kamaru.

In an interview released on his YouTube channel, the Irishman said that he was looking at his own fight against Usman for the 170-pound title in his comeback fight. I won the title at 155 pounds. I got myself a lightweight frame, but I am big now. I feel big. I feel strong. I feel good. I have good energy. I am coming back from an injury. I don't want to deplete myself. There should be no need to deplete myself.

I feel confident against him, he is a jab-happy, sloppy orthodox wrestler with no submissions. What is he going to do? Where is the danger? I do not see danger. If we make this fight, I will get three titles in three divisions.

The man is expected to fight this summer after having hand surgery. The UFC and Usman have said that he will face Leon Edwards in the next fight.

The UFC has never had a fighter hold two belts at the same time. In December 2015, he knocked out Jose Aldo to win the title, and in November 2016 he knocked out Eddie Alvarez to win the lightweight title. He is 1-8 in four appearances since.

UFC president Dana White has been non-committal on the next opponent, but has admitted that the fight could be a title fight. In May, he faces Gaethje.

I could return late summer, but I want to be myself and bring out the best in myself. I want to do this for my fans. I want to be the best I can be. I am very excited. History will be made. The game needs to be changed. Again. The triple crown has never been done.
