According to a Russian government source, those sacked included bodyguards, cooks, launderers and secretaries.

The month of February was marked by warnings from the US and Western officials that Russia was about to stage a pretext to start a war against Ukraine.

As much of the world has condemned Russia's bombardment of Ukraine, an agent for France's General Directorate for External Security told The Daily Beast that an assassination attempt on Putin is on every intelligence agency's design table.

Lindsay Graham has called for the assassination of Putin.

The only way this ends is for someone in Russia to take this guy out.

An attempted assassination won't be the job of a foreign government according to the operative.

The attempt will be from within the Kremlin.

In Russia, poison is used as a killing tool. Prominent Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny was poisoned with the Soviet-era nerve agent Novichok in Siberia back in August 2020, and Putin has been accused of ordering the attack.
