We're teaming up with ColorWare to give away a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and a Magic Mouse to one lucky reader.
ColorWare is a website that specializes in device customization, painting all kinds of electronics in unique custom colors that are unavailable from the manufacturer.
The Touch ID Magic Keyboard can be painted in any of the colors that ColorWare has to offer. ColorWare has almost every color of the rainbow, including shades of red, blue, green, purple, and pink.
There are a number of metallic shades for those who prefer a more subdued device. Green and orange shades are available at ColorWare.
Each key and the aluminum base of the keyboard can be turned into a single color. The standard white color of the power button is protected.
The Magic Mouse comes in all of the same colors as the keyboard, and can be ordered from ColorWare for $149. The top of the mouse is the only part of the mouse that is colorized. The customization of the Magic Mouse removes the Apple logo from the top.
Since 1998, ColorWare has created custom painted devices. A multi-step coating system that includes a primer, application of a primary color formula, and a liquid plastic coating protects the color that has been applied.
The keyboard and mouse have a color change, but the rest of the function remains the same. ColorWare has a wide range of other custom painted devices, including the Nintendo Switch, AirTags, and even robot vacuums.
