Pete has been working on various projects, including James DeMonaco's "The Home", in which he was spotted covered in blood. It is possible that one of them got in the way.

Party America CEO Marty Allen, wife and husband duo Sharon and Marc Hagle, entrepreneur Jim Kitchen and Commercial Space Technologies Prez Dr. George Nield were among the passengers who were scheduled to go up with Pete.
