There is a new top-tier phone in the A-series called theGalaxy A 73 5G, which has a high resolution 108-megapixel camera. According to the company's press release, the A 73 5G will be available in select markets on April 22nd at a price that is yet to be announced.
The big spec boost here appears to be its camera, although the A 73 also has a slightly bigger 6.7-inch display. It is one of the highest resolution phone cameras around. It's the same as what the S22 Ultra has, but it has a bigger main camera. When it comes to phone cameras, the high counts aren't the be-all-and-end-all.
One of the four cameras on the rear of the A 73 is a 108-Megahertz sensor. It's a shame that the A72 doesn't make the cut because it has a 3.5mm jack. The product page for the A73 5G doesn't mention what processor it is using.
There is no charging brick in the box, but there is a choice of 6 or 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 or 512 gigabytes of storage.
The price of the A 73 could make it very appealing. There is currently no sign of it in the US, where it is only being released by the company.
